Professor Marra along with Mr. Haben joined forces to form America’s Pro Jiu-Jitsu and hosted their second major tournament, this time in Central America.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu took tremendous strides forward in its advancement in Mexico and Central America on December 11, 2011 at the Abu Dhabi World Pro Jiu-Jitsu Championship Central American Trials in Leon, Mexico.

The team of Americas Pro Jiu-Jitsu put on a tournament that drew the best that Mexico and Central America had to offer to the spacious Domo de la Feria home of Mexico’s LNBP (National Professional Basketball League) Lechugueros de León.

The day was filled with great matches from notable academies from across Mexico and Central America; Team Renzo Gracie, Team Nova Geração, Team Machado, Team Marra Senki, Team Nova União, Team Top Brother and many others.

Looking forward to APJJ next upcoming event coming to New York CIty in March of 2012!

A special thank you to all Victor Orozco and Marra Senki MX volunteers who made this tournament a success. We could not have done this without you!
