Professor Marra along with Mr. Haben joined forces to form America’s Pro Jiu-Jitsu. The first event that APJJ had the honor of hosting was the Abu Dhabi WPJJC Trials in San Antonio, TX at the historic Joe and Harry Freeman Coliseum! This prestigious tournament, held on November 26, 2011 was a major success and had some of BJJ’s best athletes in participation.

A special thank you to all HMA and Marra Senki volunteers who made this tournament a success. We could not have done this without you!

Congratulations to all of the HMA students who competed! Looking forward to the day when we send one of our own to represent the USA in Abu Dhabi!

The Marra Senki Competition Team took home the Team Title Our Competition Team showed up in full force and showed why we are one of the BEST Competition Teams in Texas.

Our Competition team (made up of students from Marra Senki HQ, Haben’s Martial Arts, Ohana Jiu Jitsu and Mid Valley BJJ) took home 31 medals in hardware (8 Gold, 11 Silver, 12 Bronze) and one trip to Abu Dhabi next year won in the White Belt Absolute Division by Pete O’Neal from Marra Senki/Ohana Jiu Jitsu.
